Electric Picnic 2026 runs 28-30 August at Stradbally Hall, Stradbally, County Laois. At 80,000 capacity across multiple stages and arts areas, it is Ireland's largest camping festival and one of the biggest production crew deployments of the Irish summer. The site covers hundreds of acres of the Stradbally Hall estate - multiple main stages, the arts and comedy areas, the Food Village, campsite zones and late-night entertainment areas.
Build crew for Electric Picnic are recruited 2-4 weeks before gates open - typically starting on site 18-21 August for stages, barriers, marquees, power and fencing. On-event crew work the three festival days (28-30 August). Strike crew begin 31 August. Bar staff, stewards, catering crew and gate crew are all hired for the event days; build and site crew often work the full 2-week build and break cycle.
