A clear brief gets a more useful response
A wedding service, a food truck and a festival crew kitchen need different experience. Say what the chef or cook will be doing, the type of menu, the expected covers and how the kitchen is equipped. Include whether they are joining a team or running the service.
Put the dates, working hours, location, headcount and offered rate into your job brief. Use the job title to make the specialism clear, such as “Experienced cook for festival crew catering”. If you also need support staff, kitchen assistants and porters are listed separately.

Check the experience your kitchen needs
Profiles distinguish work someone has done from work they are happy to learn. Read their notes and ask about comparable services, responsibilities and relevant training. A general catering background is not automatically experience running your kitchen.
Certificates and skills entered on a profile are self-declared. A confirmed reference is not a check of every qualification. Discuss your requirements directly before agreeing the job, including equipment, clothing, travel and the full shift details.
Plan for availability
This is a growing pool, so a chef may not be available for every location or date. Give as much notice as you can and make the brief specific. Posting a job is not a guaranteed booking or a promise that CrewPool will supply someone.
